I’ve been spending a bit of time with my daughter, helping her with her school project. She had to create a monster that came out of the classroom. For my daughter, believe it or not, this was a “simple” project! This is what she came up with…..a “pequino” (she had to make up a name of the creature) that eats the principal!
Month: October 2008
Big Sigh….
I just finished my biggest custom order ever! And it went very well!! It is in the mail on its way to Norway!!
Today I will be working more on Quinn’s Halloween costume! So, hopefully tomorrow I will post another photo of the work in progress!
Happiness…
One of the things that makes me happy is having a new stash of beautiful sweaters..just waiting to be made into wonderful woolies!
Not much to look at…yet….
Well, it is that time of year again. Quinn has been bugging me for months about starting his Halloween costume. Finally, this weekend we started it. We haven’t gotten much done, but this weekend we will make more progress. (He also had a school project which had to be finished!). I won’t tell you what he is going to be..yet…you will have to wait and see. You might already be able to guess!
Green Things…
I spend a lot of my days sewing. And when I’m not sewing it seems like I am lanolizing the things I’ve sewn!
A new and exciting addition to our household is this lovely potty seat. I did a lot of research and there are some interesting potty seats out there! But I decided this one would do the job the best!
Weekend…
Today is a day off from sewing. We went to the newly expanded and relocated Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. We’ve been members there for a very long time. Today was a special members only day. It was a lot of fun.
I am always looking for new and different sewing sites. One I found is called Grosgrain. Not only is it a great site, but she is always having giveaways. A link to this week’s giveaway can be found here.
